 Melissa Harris is a Fulbright scholar in painting and also has two Fine Art degrees. Her company (Creatrix) began as a way for her to combine her interests in fine art and healing. Buyers collect the images for the brilliantly colored artwork as well as the written meditations (written by Melissa). Her passion for life is continually renewed by the joy and magic she experiences as a result of her intention to open to the Goddess & Spirit. A connection of Mother Earth fuels her being and inspires imagery. Many of her artworks speak to the different aspects of women's lives in contemporary society and the healing women have come here to do.
Melissa has also worked for many years as a professional psychic, astrologer and teacher which influences her Women and Magic Series. Other series include Women and Nature,Women and Cats, Women and Dreams and more. Melissa makes her home in the Catskill Mountains with her partner and 3 special cats.
