 Karen credits a rich family lineage of individuals, including her mother, Deane, with inspiring a lifestyle in which creativity is as essential as breath. She has been working with the synchronistic energies of gemstones and metal since the early 90’s, after discovering that wearing certain jewelry empowered her in different ways. Several years of writing product reviews for other artists developed her sensitivity to subtle energies in design, color, and stones, and led her to create her own jewelry lines 10 years ago. Today, she is known for her ability to create jewelry pieces that resonate with the life path and intention of the wearer.
When she designs a piece, the beads and metal speak to her heart and guide her fingers. As she works, her focus stays on listening and doing the next thing, and often, the end result holds surprises, even for her. Karen delights in allowing each finished piece to take on a life of its own. Her current line, Goddess Bends, was designed specifically for The Left Side, arose out of her own need to re-invent herself, and is offered as an inspirational pathway to women everywhere who find themselves releasing the old and stepping into the new. Karen currently resides in Sedona, Arizona. |
Karen Crane’s “Going Forward” pendant was a hit at INATS. Someone purchased her pendant right off her neck, and when she replaced it someone bought that pendant as well! The beauty, colors, (charoite and abalone shell) draw attention, and of the new pendants, this one is looking like a top seller. Customers loved it for its uniqueness, and when they found out that the intention is to help you keep moving forward in your life, it became the “must have” piece of the Goddess Bends line. This piece represents alchemy at its best: beauty and meaning that translate into real empowerment. |
