14 year old boy in a man's bodyMy kids give me so much to write about. My son is now about 3 inches taller than I am and given that he isn't even in high school yet he will be doing a lot more growing. With the testosterone turbo pumping through his veins this "A" student is currently an "A, B, C, D" student. Yep, "D." What he and his group of "boys to men" don't know is they are responsible for a mother support group. They wonder why their punishments are so similar? Why they get busted when they are being sneaky? Do they think law enforcement was the organization that created a network of snitches? It all comes back to the mom's. From masturbation to looking at naked girls... do they really think we don't have an idea of what is going on? Sure, some parents kid themselves because they don't really want to know. Not me! My son says I'm mean and that his friends are afraid of me. I set boundaries with them, for instances DO NOT add more holes to the three already in my walls from your past antics. DO NOT allow your friends to raid you 16 year old sister's panty drawer. GET OFF YOUR DUFF and manage your video game addiction. It is said that the same gender parent is the biggest influence on a child so there is hope because my husband has a lot of great qualities. In fact, my son, when coming home from dinner one night last week began discussing what he wants to do for a profession. Talk about a mother being proud, he said he was interested in the medical field and specializing in holistic and homeopathic health practices. We are all making adjustments with his new responsibilities of becoming a man. Did I mention how much I continue to learn from my children?
