Hello and Welcome!

The Whole Living Virtual Trade Expo is a 5-day, promotional partnership between independent and eclectic vendors serving retail stores that sell diverse, artisan, and/or conscious living type products.

What is extra special about our event -- OFFERED SEPTEMBER 20-24, 2010 -- is you get special offers from small press, artists, and other independent and unique vendors that have terrific products but don’t always make it to trade shows on-site. There may be an author that has cool books and teaching tools with a low minimum, or there may be a vendor you’ve done business with before that has a great deal for this promotional period.  Remember that a number of these artists and authors can be booked in your store for events as well!

Tips to get the most out of this event:

1. Retailers mention the virtual trade show when ordering from each vendor to secure your Expo Special Deals. Remember, you have 5 days to take advantage of these specials unless otherwise designated below.
2. Retail buyers have your business sales tax number or EIN available when shopping and ordering.
3. Retailers ask about top sellers, features, benefits and trends--Vendors are more than happy to mentor you through the ordering process. 
4. Retailers discuss payment terms options -- When purchasing, you deal with each vendor like you do at an on-site show.  Generally speaking, dealing with a new vendor, qualified retail buyers should expect to prepay with a credit card, check or C.O.D.  Some vendors will accept a prepared credit sheet for terms from established stores with a credit card back-up.  Ask vendors if they date shipments to spread out your fiscal exposure -- Many vendors will date orders for later shipment so you can take advantage of these special offers, but expect to write your order within the promotional period (unless otherwise designated by individual vendors).
5. Retailers concerned that some of our independent authors/musicians are too small to order from? Ask if participating artists/musicians have product with New Leaf and how you can add your books/music to your next New Leaf order and still get their special. Note that some discounts may not apply if ordered through New Leaf.
6. Enjoy getting to know each other. You will likely have much in common with Vendors and Retailers leading diversified lives (including being eclectic practitioners). Look forward to long-term partnerships that, many times, become friendships.
